Slide Management 101

Slide enthusiasts like me can have a hard time keeping their slides in one place. On a recent guitar forum, someone posted a creative solution. It was a wooden ‘taco holder’ from Amazon—perfect for keeping your slides together. I considered getting one but with shipping to Hong Kong it ended up being more than $30 USD — so I put the purchase on pause and pondered other options.

Two weeks on, you can imagine my delight when I spied this little beauty in Ikea:

The Ostbit, weighing in at next to nothing is a most agreeable and dare I say handsome, solution to one’s slide housing woes. At around $1.50 USD it’s super cheap too!
